 Pof Prices) Order, 1962 and the Drugs (Control of Prices) Order, 1963 issued under the Defense of India Act, 1915 to the

 current Drugs Price Control Order, 2013 issued under Essen al Commodi es Act,1955. The Department of Chemicals and

 Petrochemicals was implemen ng the various DPCOs issued by the government from  me to  me  ll the se ng up of Na onal
 Pharmaceu cal Pricing Authority (NPPA) in 1997.
